Sandra says "The first book From Christmas to Christmas was my third book ever published and so I'm thinking we need a volume 2. I often paint snowmen or Christmas designs and in this book, I've tried to cover as many holidays as I could get in the space allotted. You'll see that I've thrown in a little more of the meixed media style. I am so getting drawn to it. Maybe because you can just be careless and have fun. It's easy and all I do is tear a bunch of papers up and I use Deco Pauge or Liquitex Gel Medium-Matt, and glue them together. I try to make a sheet of paper about the size of an 8 by 10 so that I can scan it when I'm finished and use it for other designs. I spatter it with any acrylic color, stamp it with an assortment of designs, spatter it with paint, whatever you think you would like to do with it. Cut or tear it to fit your surface or design. Apply a coat of the medium, place your paper design down and apply more medium.  Allow to dry and apply another coat of Deco Pauge or Liquitex Gel Medium. You can paint over it, float shading and highlighting. You can write words over it. It's just a fun play time to do, and I think it mixes well with our painting. Now, back to From Christmas to Christmas Vol. 2. I have tried to incorporate as many holidays as possible. Please feel free to reduce or enlarge any of the designs to fit your surface.
