Surface: Approx. 11-1/2" wide - Leslie says this surface was gifted to her, but you can find similar USA cutouts if you google "USA Wood". If the size isn't exactly the same, you may need to enlarge or reduce the pattern.

To determine the percentage to adjust a pattern, divide the width of your actual surface by the width of Leslie's drawing, round the result to 2 decimal places, and move the decimal 2 places to the right for the percentage. Examples:

1. If your USA is 14" wide - 14 ÷ 11.5 = 1.22. You would enlarge the pattern to 122%. 
2. If your USA is 10" wide - 10 ÷ 11.5 = .87. You would reduce the pattern to 87%.
