This Winter design explores different techniques for backgrounds and applications of textures.  Debby has used different techniques in building the layers for the background – sponging, stenciling and relief stenciling.  You could also use different stencils that you may have on hand.

Painted on candy dish lid. 5-1/2"x5-1/2" or your choice of surface.
